First night in Anarchy: how to survive

You've just joined Anarchy. Here's a short plan for your first half hour — so you make it through the night and lose nothing.

Spawn is a safe place

Your first login takes you to the spawn map. Nothing can be broken here, and nobody can hit you. New players get starter coins and a starter kit, and the prologue quests walk you through the first steps. The menu opens with the M key, and on a phone with a button on the screen.

There are figures standing at spawn: the Buyer purchases your loot, and the Cutter gives out enhancements. Walk up close — they'll turn to you and say hello.

Head far away

There are lots of people around spawn and few resources. The /rtp command takes you to a random spot in the wild world — that makes it easier to find a quiet corner. From spawn the teleport is instant, but where fighting is allowed it happens after a 10–17 second countdown.

A shelter before dark

Gather wood, craft some tools and place a bed: it becomes your respawn point. A simple shelter in a hillside or underground takes a couple of minutes to build. Light up the entrance — at night, monsters come out all around.

What comes out at night

Zombies and skeleton archers. A skeleton draws its bow where you can notice it — you can see it and hear it, so you can step aside and dodge the arrow. The Powder Keg sneaks right up to you and explodes — don't let it get close.

Money from day one

Mobs pay coins straight into your wallet. Sell your spare loot to the Buyer at spawn. Daily tasks (/daily) and quests give coins and items.

Look after your stuff

When you die, your items drop right where you fell, and anyone can pick them up. Leaving the game during a fight counts as dying — you can't escape that way. Leave anything you don't need at home in a chest.

Don't play alone

Friends (/friend) and clans (/c) help you survive: together it's easier to fight back and guard your base.
