Sign in with Telegram

No more inventing passwords: the game now lets you sign in with Telegram. And you can delete your account right from the app without a password too — through the same Telegram.

How it works

The sign-in window has a new button, “Sign in with Telegram”. Tap it and the game shows a code and a number, with an “Open Telegram” button next to them. The bot offers three numbers; tap the one you see on the game screen. This protects you from other people's links: only your own number confirms the sign-in, and a wrong one kills the request for good.

If you don't have an account yet, one is created for you — with the nickname from the sign-in window. If Telegram doesn't open, the window tells you which bot to message and which code to send by hand. And if your phone sends the game to the background while you're confirming, it quietly reconnects and keeps waiting.

The Telegram sign-in window: a sign-in code, a number to confirm and an “Open Telegram” button.
The waiting window: the game shows a code and a number, and in the bot you tap the same number. The code here is an example.

Delete your account — even without a password

You could already delete your account from “Profile” — but only with a password. Accounts created through Telegram don't have one. Hence the request: “we need to make it so a player can delete their account through the app.” Now the deletion window has a line “No password? Confirm with Telegram” — the same chat with the bot as when you sign in.

The rest works as before: type the word “DELETE” so you can't do it by accident, and you get fourteen days to think it over. Signing in during those days cancels the deletion — with your password, or through Telegram if you don't have one. Before you confirm, the game honestly warns you that your remaining platinum will burn, and that your lots and bids at the auction have to be closed first.

Sign in with Apple is ready for iPhone too — it will start working once the app is out.

In the game. Since October 21.
